This cable "inserts" power and data into a Pfranc compatible Data-PowerReady cable like our eD1 cable and our pD32 cable. As a matter of fact, this cable works for both because it supplies 12V to pin 9 AND 3V to pin 8 so you can use it with your eTrex or Street Pilot! What's more, you can leave it in the car and you can place your computer up to 6 feet (1.7m) away from the cigarette lighter plug.
